What We Do
Students Serve is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides serviceships to college students. Basically, this means that we give funding to dedicated, hard-working students who have ideas about how to make a difference.

This is important because it usually costs money to undertake service projects, and most college students do not have the financial resources to implement their innovative ideas. Many students are receiving financial aid and will graduate with substantial debt. Because of this, even though they may have the time and intellectual ability to genuinely improve local communities, their creative plans often go to waste and are never acted upon.

                            That's why Students Serve exists.

The organization's mission is to improve communities by empowering students to serve, learn, and lead. Serviceships give students the opportunity to use their education in meaningful ways that solve community problems across the United States.
