Students at Texas A&M, led by Students Serve grant recipient Raechel Schneider, paint murals that will be displayed across the campus. Later, the murals will be auctioned to promote arts in the local community.
Caitlin Brown is volunteering in Haiti to help bring needed medical care to impoverished individuals. She is a 2010 grant recipient and is currently double majoring in Spanish and Health and Nutrition at Virginia Tech.
Participants in Girls on the Go learn how to prepare fruits and vegetables so that they can eat healthily and teach their parents about nutritious diets. Girls on the Go is a program started by Laura Rolfe in Kentucky through a grant from Students Serve.
